Full Service Portraits for Busy Seattleites

Portraits are more than just pictures. They’re artwork that tells your story.

The kind of art you walk past every day and feel something.

We aim to create portraits that capture who you are right now: your personality, your relationships, the moments that matter most. We want your portraits to feel honest, elevated, and deeply personal.

Whether it’s the connection within your family or a moment that’s entirely your own, the goal is the same: to create something that feels like you.

From the very beginning, we’ll guide you through the process. We’ll plan your session together, help you choose what to wear, and design the final artwork with your home in mind. The art we create won’t just live on your phone, it will become part of your life.

The most meaningful way to preserve your legacy isn’t digital. It’s something real that you can see, hold, and pass down to others in the future.

A studio made for comfort

Our studio is designed to feel warm, welcoming, and a little bit magical. We’ve designed an artistic space where you can relax, be yourself, and actually enjoy the process as much as you enjoy your finished art.

Every session is private and not rushed. It’s just you (and your family, if you’re bringing them), working closely with Lara and Art. We’ll make sure you never feel awkward or unsure of what to do. Confidence and fun is what it’s all about.

Professional hair and makeup styling is available right here in the studio to add an extra layer of polish and confidence to your experience.

What clients remember most about their experience is how it feels. The laughter, the ease, the unexpected fun of it all. And of course, walking away with portraits they truly love.

Why Lara

There are a lot of photographers out there. What makes this experience different is how easily we bring out the real you.

Most people walk into a portrait session feeling at least a little unsure of themselves. That’s completely normal. With over 30 years of experience, I can guide you so you feel confident, comfortable, and surprisingly at ease. Between clear direction and a few well-timed silly antics, genuine expressions tend to show up naturally.

Clients often tell me how easy I am to work with, and how much they or their kids actually enjoy the experience. That’s not by accident. Creating a relaxed, positive environment is just as important as making beautiful images.

Behind the scenes, I’ve spent decades honing both the craft and the client experience. I’ve served in leadership roles within the professional photography community, taught and mentored other photographers, and earned industry certifications and degrees that reflect a commitment to doing this work at the highest level.

But more than anything, I care deeply about why this matters.

Life moves quickly. The moments you’re in right now -this stage, these relationships, this version of you -don’t last forever. Portraits give you a way to hold onto them, so that years from now, you’ll be very glad you did.

How it Works

1. Vision & Design

We’ll start with an in-person consultation. This is where we get to know you, talk through your ideas, and design your session together. We’ll discuss wardrobe, style, and where your finished artwork will live, so everything we create has a clear purpose from the beginning.

2. Photoshoot

On the day of your session, all you have to do is show up. We’ll guide you through the rest. Sessions are relaxed and comfortably paced, always tailored to what we planned together. With clear direction (and a little fun along the way), we’ll create a variety of portraits you’ll love.

3. View & Order

After your session, we’ll meet again for your viewing appointment. This is where you’ll see your portraits for the first time and choose which ones will live where. We’ll help you design the perfect artwork for your home, including statement pieces for the wall and an album to tell the full story.

4. Delivery

Once your selections are made, we’ll take it from there. Retouching, printing, framing and binding is all done with care. When everything is finished (in 4-12 weeks, depending on the products you order), we’ll bring it to you. We offer in-home delivery and installation for your wall art, so everything is placed perfectly and ready to enjoy from day one.

Museum Quality Art

Our goal isn’t just to create images. It’s to create artwork that you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

That’s why we offer three main ways to enjoy your portraits:

  • Wall Art – Statement pieces designed for your home, crafted to complement your space and preserve your story for years to come.

  • Albums – Beautifully bound story-telling albums that capture moments in sequence, perfect for revisiting and sharing.

  • Folio Collections – A curated collection of prints presented in a handcrafted wood box with a glass top, offering a luxurious alternative to an album.

Every session begins with a reservation fee to secure your date and start the planning process. From there, your final investment depends on the pieces you choose, their size, and the number of images. Every project is customized entirely for your home and story.

We’ll guide you through every decision starting at your consultation, so you only invest in what truly matters to you. The result is timeless art you’ll enjoy for a lifetime.
